Political Ideology Quizzes

Hello everyone,
   After you have finished working on your test corrections, I would like you spend some time getting a look at who you are politically.  Unit Two: Political Beliefs and Behaviors, is all about how we identify ourselves political and where we go from there.  This is pretty important stuff!  So, before we get into the details I wanted to spend some time exploring who you are as a future voter!

I would like you to open a Word Document.  Then, I would like you to complete the following steps...

1. On your Word Doc, write a paragraph (or more if you want) about who you are as a political person.  Think about the following things
• What political party to you think you would belong to, or who would you vote for in this political election?
• What are some of the most important issues to you as a future voter.  In other words, what do you care about most when you are looking at a candidate to vote for?
• Where do you think you learned most behaviors or beliefs concerning politics?
2. Go to I Side With Political Quiz
• Answer the questions according to how you feel.  Make sure to note that there is a chance to select your stance, but also, a slider to choose how important that question is to you.  
• For a more detailed readout, make sure to always click "answer more questions" when you have the opportunity.
• When you finish, screen shot your results and copy it into your Word Doc.
3. Go to Pew Political Typology Quiz
• Take the quiz, screen shot your results and copy it into your Word Doc.
4. Go to Political Compass Quiz
• Take the quiz, screen shot your results and copy it into your Word Doc.
5. Once you finish, reflect upon what you found out about yourself today in about a paragraph.  
• Did your results surprise you?
• Do you think that these are an accurate reflection of you as a future voter?
